Journalist and Social Science Researcher

I am an MSc Global Affairs graduate from King’s College London with over four years of professional experience as a Journalist and Multimedia Producer in India, reporting on issues such as Education, Politics, and Governance. I have produced text and video news reports, vlogs, marketing copy, and e-learning courses. My expertise is in storytelling; communicating complex ideas in any medium with clarity.

I have undertaken several research projects as a Qualitative Researcher, involving ethnographic fieldwork, archival research, and literature reviews. My Master's thesis explores the phenomenon of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in local body polls in Kerala, through a case study of Kasaragod. The research is supervised by Dr Christophe Jaffrelot, Avantha Chair at King's India Institute.

I am open to opportunities in India and in the United Kingdom where I can use my skills as a researcher and communicator to contribute in areas such as Public Policy, Democratic Institutions, Governance, Political Sociology, and Contemporary Indian Politics.
